Our History

Our story begins in mid 1951, when Jaime Sprada, our founder, started working as an accounting assistant, operating on an Olivetti machine adapted for the Kontax Machined Accounting System.

The day 13 December of 1952 It was graduation day from the Technical Accounting Course, date that we take for ourselves as the official beginning of our activities, from the 1st professional qualification of the founder and creator of this project.

Mr. Jaime worked for a while as an Officer in the Brazilian Army, at 5th Company. of Intendency, where he served as Treasurer, operating the Unit's accounting, in the standards of Public Accounting of the Union.

In 1956 launched his solo company, located at Dr. Muricy street, 650, 7th floor, starting with the elaboration of two writings, one industrial and one commercial; Soon the work began to increase.

In 1957 moved to Marechal Deodoro street, 454 and soon after went to the number 503 from the same street, in a large room on the 13th floor, as activities expanded, as well as the number of employees.

On October 1st, 1960 the JAIME SPRADA ACCOUNTING OFFICE started to operate in its own headquarters on Voluntários da Pátria street, 475 – in the Asa Building, where he stayed for 42 years.

We then began to serve a range of larger companies, including nationwide, such as the Curitiba branches of Kibon S/A Indústrias Alimentícias and its associate Indústrias Alimentícias Gerais S/A. We were responsible for opening and installing the Curitiba Branch of Olivetti do Brasil S/A; responsible for accounting at Paraná Refrigerantes S/A (Coke), as well as Hospital São Lucas S/A, in special contract work.

In 1956, Jaime Sprada received a Bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná and in, 1960 a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Actuarial Sciences from the predecessor of the current Faculty of Social Studies of Paraná (FESP). In October 2012 our founding President, was honored by the Faculty of Social Studies of Paraná, FESP, at the party of 75 college years. Accountant Jaime Sprada is a student who graduated from the 1st class of the Accounting Sciences course at FESP and is the only one still active. He was honored and invited as a speaker at the VII Study Cycle of Accounting Sciences and Economics.

Already in 1981 we sought commitment to well-applied technology in work solutions. At this time an attempt was made to computerize, using an S-700 system – Prológica, but the process did not offer practical results with benefits to customers.

But in 1987 effective computerization occurred, with Solution equipment 16 – Prológica, and an accounting system developed in DOS, with subsequent implementation of tax writing and the humam resources department. At the time, the Jaime Sprada Accounting Office was one of the first in Brazil to use the FGTS file delivery system on floppy disk. We developed the pilot project with Caixa Econômica Federal, agency. Carlos Gomes.

In December of 1994 Sprada was founded with the name & Sprada & Rossetim Accounting, Audit, Consulting and Expertise, succeeding the Jaime Sprada Accounting Office.

The experience acquired and the principles of cutting-edge technology, as well as the excellent results in implementing the FGTS on floppy disk, led us to be invited by Caixa Econômica Federal to participate, in 1998, of the national pilot project to develop the SEFIP system, next to the main softwarehouses of the country.

In the year of 2002, with the updated logo, as part of the golden jubilee celebrations, a SPRADA & ROSSETIM | Accounting Office moved to its current headquarters on Lamenha Lins street, 2049, in the Rebouças neighborhood, in Curitiba – PR.

In the years of 2012 e 2013, when we complete the 55 of the company, We participate in a qualification program by SESCAP – UNION OF ACCOUNTING SERVICE COMPANIES, ADVICE AND EXPERTISE.

This program was the G-Contábil, which is a management certification, like an ISO-9000, but made by accountants and directed to accounting offices. We participate in a visionary way, of the first class, where we were certified in 2013 with the G-Contábil seal, in this mechanism that continues as a work philosophy to this day.

Always at the forefront, but without ever forgetting our values, we maintain our commitment learned from our father and founder, Jaime Sprada. The Family and our credibility are the tools that will always keep us on the path towards success!
